KMEA College of Arts and Science, Kuzhivelipady has an Anti-Drug Cell to ensure a DRUG FREE CAMPUS,where the Students and other members of Staff are fully aware of the DANGER in
DRUGS and the necessity to stay away from ABUSE OF DRUGS.
Vision
To build up a DRUG ABUSES FREE SOCIETY and the Eradication of Consumptions of DRUGS , for ensuring a HAPPY and PEACEFUL SOCIETY and to PROTECT THE CAMPUS FROM DRUG ABUSES.
Mission
Imposing a TOTAL BAN on the Possession or Consumption or Use of Drugs by students of the College,within or outside the Campus/Hostels by o rganizing Awareness Programmes in the
Cllege and Hostels ,with the help of Government Authorized Agencies.
Importance of the Cell
To Educate and Protect students from DRUGS.
To bring more Peace, Hrmony and Co-operation among Students.
To enlighten the spirit of Education and Protection from Anti-social activities and Anti- Social Elements.
Proposed Activities for the Academic Year 2024-2025
To conduct a SEMINAR in association with Excise Department ,Govt.of Kerala ,about thTo conduct a SEMINAR in association with Excise Department ,Govt.of Kerala ,about the EVIL EFFECTS OF DRUGS.
Encouraging Peer Policy among students & forming Studenst Groups for reporting any noticed use of drugs immediately to the CELL.
Conducting Ground Level Campaigns and Programmes to understand the trend among youngsters about USE OF DRUGS. and use of Expertise of Psychologists and Conduct sessions on the threat of DRUGS.
