From the beginning stage of our college. We, the Department of Commerce stand as the backbone to accomplish our institution’s vision and mission. The college was affiliated to MG University; we are offering two batches of B.com. Degree      programmes.

1) B.Com Computer Application

2) B.Com Finance and Taxation.

The programmes offered by the Department of Commerce help the students to develop an understanding and appreciation of the role of commerce played in our daily lives. An education in Commerce can make a significant contribution to the development and understanding the global role of commerce related subjects and its practical application in various areas of the modern economy... The Department assists each student by deciding where he wants to go, what he wants to do, or how he can best accomplish his purposes.

A teacher is the pivot of the educational system. The Department of Commerce is gifted with 7 teachers who are entrusted with the responsibility of molding the character of emerging generations, shaping the society and building up the nation. The Department of Commerce provides pupils with various experiences so that every aspect of their personality may be developed in such a way that they can participate successfully in each and every phase of their lives.

 The activities of the Commerce Association 2016-17 named by “Mercuralia” were inaugurated by Sri Joseph victor (vice principal little flower engineering college)on 23^rd august 2016 in a formal meeting which was presided over by the principal , Prof. Abdul Karim . There was also a lecture on management and leadership quality by the chief guest .The HOD Prof. R Jagadish gave his whole hearted wishes for the future activities of the association. Mohammed Sadath E.H was elected as association secretary for the academic year.

Mission

Department strives to become a seminal center for the promotion of the whole round development of the students of this region, especially the women students who are socially marginalized and those from a rural background who are economically disadvantaged.
